Child Care :

Preparing LunchYMCA School Age Child Care:
Do you need supervision for your child after school? School age child care is one of the most popular activities offered by the YMCA both nationally and locally. This program is conducted in collaboration with the Gloversville, Johnstown, Wheelerville, Fonda Fultonville, and Mayfield School Districts. Children enjoy an afternoon of fun and activities. Daily program includes a snack, arts & crafts, gym, swim, quiet time, play time, and more. Periodically the Y hosts parent nights and special family-oriented events. All activities are under the supervision of a qualified staff and proper ratios of staff to children are maintained at all times. The program operates under a registration certificate from the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. Activities are conducted at School facilities (except Johnstown, which is at Y). Fees are on a sliding scale according to family income. A before-school program is available at select locations.

Enrollment space is limited, so anyone interested in this activity should call the YMCA today.
