Parent-Child Swim Lessons Begin October 6th

We are excited to be able to offer swim lessons for children with the aid of their parent beginning the week of October 6, 2020. Parents will act as the facilitator to help children while the Y Swim Instructor directs from the pool deck (to avoid contact during this pandemic). One parent per child is required.

Children must be accompanied by a parent in the water and in the building at all times. Masks are required in the facility and may be taken off in the pool area (required in locker room, lobby and in all common areas). Families should come ready to swim as the total time in the building will be limited to 60 minutes (45 minutes in the pool). Family locker rooms are only available for a mother accompanying her son or a father accompanying his daughter. A parent/child duo of the same sex (mother with daughter or father with son) must use the girls or boys room, respectively. Families wishing to enroll more than 1 child must have 1 parent registered per child (more than 1 child per parent in a class is not permitted).

Lessons will be offered on Tuesdays at 4:30PM for ages 3-5 and Thursdays at 4:30PM for ages 6-8. This program lasts 5 weeks and is free for Fulton County Y members. Non-members are $40 for a child-parent duo. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, this program is currently limited to 5 children and 5 parents per class (total of 10 participants per day).

Pre-registration is required, register today!
