Business of the Month
The Fulton County YMCA is proud to partner with Fulton County Public Health as the October Business of the Month. The department’s work matches the Y’s own mission: helping neighbors stay healthy, safe, and connected.
Fulton County Public Health works to protect, preserve, and promote the health of people across Fulton County. Staff provide prevention and education for residents of every age, often at no charge, and connect families with care when they need it.
In the community, that looks like:
Immunizations, lead testing, and health guidance for children and adults
Maternal and child health support, including a free postpartum and newborn education visit for first-time and higher-risk moms
Free car seat checks with a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician
Nutrition information, dental health programs for children and youth, and health education for schools and community groups
Seasonal clinics and prevention programs, including flu and COVID vaccine clinics and free falls-prevention classes
Disease prevention and partnerships with local providers so care stays close to home
