Lunch & Learn

Lunch & Learn at the Fulton County YMCA: “How Can Speech Therapy Help Me?”

The Fulton County YMCA is pleased to partner with Nathan Littauer Hospital for an upcoming Lunch & Learn program focused on the important role speech-language pathologists (SLPs) play in supporting communication and swallowing needs across the lifespan.

Join us on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 12PM for an informative presentation led by Lexi Von Herbulis, M.S., CCC-SLP.

During this session, attendees will learn how speech therapy can benefit individuals from infancy through adulthood, explore the many settings and populations SLPs serve, and gain insight into services offered locally through Nathan Littauer Hospital.

Topics will include:

  • What a speech-language pathologist does and who can benefit from speech therapy

  • Communication and swallowing support across different stages of life

  • Local resources and available services

  • An open Q&A session for attendees

Lunch will be provided, and this event is offered free of charge for Fulton County YMCA members.

Register on our website, visit the Welcome Center, or call the YMCA at (518) 848-3447 for more information.
