Feeding Those Who Would Otherwise Go Hungry

Caring Community Basket Brigade: Thanksgiving Dinners

Helping those in need to enjoy the special joy of a complete Thanksgiving meal is what the Caring Community Basket Brigade initiative has been doing since 2016.

As we continue to face challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our neighbors and community need us now more than ever.

Thanks to generous donors like you, the Y and our community partners have served more than 1,900 families since 2016, serving 900 last year alone.  Because so many families are now struggling every day to make ends meet, we estimate that over 950 families from across the Capital Region will need our help this year.

This year, The Fulton County YMCA is bringing the Basket Brigade to our community.

The estimated cost to provide a complete meal (full basket), with all of the fixings and the turkey is $65.  How many families we are able to feed depends on your help.  Currently, we are accepting monetary donations, to help us purchase turkeys and other items necessary to complete each meal.  Cash and check donations are welcome at our location listed below.

Please make checks out to the Fulton County YMCA. To make a donation online, please click on the donation button below.

The deadline for donations is November 15, 2021.

Please help us serve families across Fulton County this year. Together, we can give these families a complete meal, and hope in the goodness of others, like you.
