Adaptive Swim Lessons
Adaptive Swim Lessons for Children & Adults
The Fulton County YMCA believes everyone deserves the opportunity to build confidence, develop water safety skills, and experience the joy of swimming. Our Adaptive Swim Lessons provide personalized instruction for children and adults with developmental, sensory, physical, or learning differences in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Led by instructor Ben Dwyer, each lesson is tailored to meet the individual needs, strengths, comfort level, and goals of every swimmer. Whether someone is entering the water for the first time or working to strengthen existing swimming skills, our compassionate approach helps participants grow at their own pace while celebrating every success along the way.
Caregivers participate in the water alongside their swimmer, creating a familiar and supportive learning experience throughout the program.
