Join Us for Our Fulton County YMCA Open House!

Saturday, February 21 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM

The Fulton County YMCA is opening its doors to the entire community for a special Open House event on Saturday, February 21 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM — and you’re invited.

This event is completely free and open to the public. Whether you’re already part of our Y family or simply curious about what we offer, this is your opportunity to experience our programs, meet our instructors, explore our facility, and try a wide range of activities — all in one afternoon.

No pre-registration is required. All guests will complete a waiver upon arrival at the Welcome Center. Standard facility guidelines apply (children ages 13 and older may enter without a parent).

Looking for a little friendly competition? Throughout the afternoon, we’ll be hosting fitness challenges in our Wellness Center:

11:00 AM – Row Contest (How far can you row in 3 minutes?)

11:30 AM – Fastest Mile Challenge

12:00 PM – Longest Plank Hold

12:30 PM – Max Push-Ups in 1 Minute

12:45 PM – Max Sit-Ups in 1 Minute

1:00 PM – Max Air Squats in 1 Minute

1:15 PM – Bench Press Challenge

Pool Activities for All Ages

Our Aquatics Center will also be active throughout the event, offering something for everyone:

11:15–11:45 AM | Parent & Me Splash Time

A gentle introduction to the water for little ones and their grown-ups. Families can experience water acclimation skills and preview our Parent/Child Swim Lessons designed to build early confidence and comfort in the pool.

11:45 AM–12:15 PM | Aqua Tabata with Zara

A high-energy, low-impact aquatic workout combining cardio and strength intervals. Two lap lanes will remain available during class.

12:15–12:45 PM | Aqua Fit with Val

A full-body water fitness class focused on strength, mobility, and endurance. Two lap lanes remain open for independent swimmers.

1:00–2:00 PM | Swim Assessments

Families can have their child assessed by our experienced instructors to ensure proper placement for Swim Lessons beginning March 2. Open swim will continue during this time.

Sports Preview Sessions

Step onto the court and experience our Youth Sports programming through interactive preview sessions designed to build skills, confidence, and teamwork in a positive environment.

11:15–11:45 AM | Basketball Preview Session

Participants will review foundational basketball skills and take part in engaging games that emphasize movement, teamwork, and confidence-building.

11:45 AM–12:15 PM | Soccer Preview Session

Core soccer skills will be introduced through fun, high-energy activities designed to keep everyone active and excited about the sport.

12:15–12:45 PM | Floor Hockey Preview Session

Participants will explore basic floor hockey skills while enjoying upbeat games that promote coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

12:45–1:15 PM | Tennis Preview Session

Athletes will review fundamental tennis skills and participate in welcoming, beginner-friendly games.

1:15–2:00 PM | Open Gym

Families are invited to stay and enjoy open play time. Participants can revisit their favorite sport, practice skills, and explore the space in a relaxed, supervised setting.

Plus: Free Art Classes

We’ll also be offering complimentary art classes during the Open House. Final details will be announced soon.
